When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

This can be a tough tooth to work on so it depends on which root needs the apico. Hard to say without the x-ray.You might want to consider replacing this tooth with an implant(may need a sinus lift), it will cost a bit more but would be much more reliable. If this surgery does not work you would have spent $2425 for nothing and still end up needing the implant. You really need to get an assessment if doing the apico has a good likely hood of success.I do apico''''s but i select my cases if your situation meets my criteria then i can do it otherwise you''''d have to go the endodontist. The fee if it involves bone grafting and retreatment , or the palatal root or some other unusual circumstance sounds about right.I invite you for a complimentary consultation and we can look at things and discuss all your options.

That seems a little excessive, unless you need major bone grafts. if that is case, the prognisis is not good anyways. please come and have a consultation with us. www. beverlyhillsoralsurgery.com 310-276-1155.

first of all it is important to ascertain that the problem cannot be resolved more conservatively with retreatment, before resorting to endodontic surgery. With the current advances in microscopic endodontic treatment, we have eliminated the need for apico''''s about 30-50%. we will gladly consult with you and give you our opinion. The price on apicoectomy really depend on the number of roots, the number of retrofills, the need for bone grafting etc.... the price you got does seem a little high.
